Did you know?

Yes, Jesus loves children very much. And He loves to be in their midst. Once when Jesus was taking rest, some mothers wanted to bring their children to the Lord Jesus. But the disciples did not permit them to do so, since the Lord Jesus was taking rest. But Jesus who saw the little children was filled with love for them. The bible says that Jesus said, "Let the little children come to me, and do not hinder them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these (Matthew 19:14, NIV)."

At another time, Jesus was in the temple area. The bible says that "...when the chief priests and the teachers of the law saw the wonderful things he did and the children shouting in the temple area, 'Hosanna to the Son of David,' they were indignant. 'Do you hear what these children are saying?' they asked him. 'Yes,' replied Jesus, 'have you never read, From the lips of children and infants you have ordained praise ?'(Matthew 21:15,16, NIV).

Children are always special to the Lord Jesus. He said "...I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven (Matthew 18:3, NIV)
