About Us

As webmaster of OurICD website, I would like to express my sincere and heartfelt thanks to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, for having given me the blessing and the resources to start this website.

The idea for this website was born about two years back. At that time I was searching the internet to find information on my church in Bangalore. I was also looking for information on christian song lyrics to help me in my everyday worship. It was then that I realised how difficult it was for an Indian Christian to quickly find Indian Christian resources on the internet. God touched my heart and gave me a strong desire to start this site. My father - Mr. Rajan V. Jacob, my mother - Susamma Rajan, my wife - Manju, and my daughters - Athira and Athina, have been very supportive and have offered great encouragement during the many days that I have spent in giving shape to this site. I thank the Lord for them. 

I really wanted OurICD site to be a free for all website. This website had to be a place where no one is charged for accessing or using content. God has given me every blessing I need in this world and this site is one of the smallest ways in which I can thank God for all that he has done for me and my family.

I tried various free and professional web authoring tools for creating this website. I found it very difficult to mould this site to its present pattern using these tools. So by God's help I started learning html, xml, css, php, and javascript to help me develop this site. As I am still a learner, I request your patience and support till this site develops a form that lives up to your expectations and dreams.

The main challenge for this website's future is its content development. As a working professional, I am able to add content and to enhance site features only when I return home from work. Further since I am able to add content only in malayalam or english, OurICD can offer content in other languages only with the supports of people like you whom the Lord has touched.
